Kaminoyama Sightseeing

Kaminoyama Onsen Tourist Information Center will start renting bicycles from April 1st. All bicycles are electric assist bicycles, and you can choose from two types. Please come to the tourist information center counter.

 

This year's cherry blossoms in Kaminoyama City are expected to bloom around April 8th.

Early discount plans for this year's cherry picking are now available on the Kaminoyama City Tourism and Products Association's online website.

 

Yamagata Wine Bar 2024 will be held in Kaminoyama City from Saturday, May 11th to Sunday, May 12th, 2024.
It is one of the largest wine events in Tohoku, where you can enjoy wine made from grapes grown in Kaminoyama and unique wines from both inside and outside Yamagata Prefecture.

Zao Echo Line Road is scheduled to open on April 26th this year. This marks the start of this year's Zao Okama tourism season. The free shuttle bus Green Echo for Zao Okama sightseeing will also start moving from arround this time.

 

Kasedori Festival was held normally on February 11, 2024.

Yamagata Wine Cave opened on April 19, 2023 at the Kaminoyama Onsen Tourist Information Center. You can enjoy 12 types of wine by the glass made by wineries in the city, either at the standing counter inside the store or at a table outside. There is also a wine shop, where you can purchase wine as souvenirs.
